RamTarang

The Album

About
RamTarang

The album seeks to reach a wider audience, particularly the younger generation. Its aim is to create greater awareness of Ayodhya’s rich cultural heritage and promote Ayodhya as a global tourism destination. Accordingly, the songs blend contemporary musical trends with the richness of classical Indian music. The subjects chosen are significant events from the life of Lord Ram. The project was conceptualised by Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal, who also serves as Chairman of the ASEVS, along with fellow IAS officer Mahendra Singh Tawar. Each song is a tribute to a divine chapter of Lord Ram’s life. The album brings alive his complete journey, from his birth and childhood to exile and eventual return to Ayodhya. In addition to the music album, the Ayodhya Sanrakshan Evam Vikas Samiti has launched its official record label, under which the album Ram Tarang has been released. The idea of establishing the Samiti’s own record label and platform was proposed by Vaibhav Saxena, founder of Vusic Records Pvt Ltd, with the objective of creating an official platform for future artists and creators. The Samiti also owns its official YouTube channel, RamTarang Ayodhya Official. The Ayodhya Sanrakshan Evam Vikas Samiti (ASEVS) and Vusic Records Private Limited have jointly recorded the album to commemorate the first anniversary of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22 next year. The RamTarang album also acknowledges the valuable contributions of renowned cinema scholar Sri Yatindra Mishra Ji, Rajendra Prasad (DD Tourism), Tarsame Mittal, Mithil Khandare of TM Talent Management, Ankur Garg of Luv Films Pvt. Ltd. and Amit Bhargad of Naughty Penguin Pvt. Ltd.
